Spring is here, and along with it comes the perfect time to plant fruit trees in your your garden for a great harvest in the years to come.
At Vander Giessen Nursery, we carry a great selection of fruit trees ready for transplanting into your yard. Most of the fruit trees we carry are dwarf varieties, meaning that while they’ll bear a full crop of fruit, they won’t take over your yard–most dwarf fruit trees top out at 12-15′ tall. The remainder of our fruit trees are Semi-Dwarf, topping out at just 14-18′ tall.

There’s nothing like fresh taste of homegrown fruit; let us help you get started growing your own this spring. And when you visit us, be sure to take home the fruit tree fertilizer you’ll want to ensure your trees grow and thrive; for established trees, be sure you also pick up mason bees, available in early spring at the nursery.
does not seem to be a catalog online. just really nice pics and descriptions. I see the shopping cart, but no way to shop!
Hi Joanna, our online store currently offers only gift cards. Due to rapidly-changing inventory we do not currently offer an online catalog of our plants and other products we offer. Thank you for checking!
I’m very interested in your fruit cocktail tree, but I live in Utah. Do you ever ship bare root fruit trees?
Hi Mary Ann, thank you for checking with us! Unfortunately we do not offer shipping of our plants, so I’m sorry we can’t help you. I would recommend checking with a garden center near you–even if they don’t carry fruit cocktail trees, they may be able to direct you to a good source. Thank you!
Hello. Do you currently have flowering cherry trees on hand? If so, what varieties? Thank you
Hi JL, Yes, we do currently have flowering cherries. We have ‘Snow Fountain’ weeping white flowering cherries and ‘Yoshino’ upright white flowering cherries. We also have ‘Thundercloud’ flowering plum, with a pink flower. Feel free to stop in to take a look!
