At Vander Giessen Nursery, we carefully choose the plants we offer to sell and use in our hanging baskets and containers, selecting from thousands of varieties available from breeders around the world. Nearly all of the “basket stuffers” we use in our hanging baskets are selected to grow aggressively, bloom all summer long, and require no deadheading for minimal maintenance.
Whether you’re picking out plants for a custom hanging basket grown in our greenhouses or wish to plant up your own hanging basket or container at home, these basket stuffers are the best we’ve found! As with our other spring annuals, our basket stuffers are generally ready for sale by mid-April, but please be careful with putting most annuals outside unprotected until early May.
